Guest Post: Mary, Princess of Denmark - Mary, Princess of Denmark New


Mary Elizabeth, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess of Denmark, was born February 5, 1972 in Hobart, Tasmania.
Mary was the daughter of John Donaldson, a professor of mathematics and Henrietta Clark Horne, assistant to the rector at the University Tasmania. Mary has three older siblings: Jane Alison, Patricia Anne and John Stuart.
On 20 November 1997 following a mild heart surgery, Henrietta dies.
In September 2001, John married the English writer and novelist Susan Elizabeth Horwood, known by his stage name Susan Moody.

Mary began his schooling at the Clear Lake City Elementary School in Houston, Texas, where his father was on business.
Back to Hobart attended the Sandy Bay Infant School 1975-1977 and Waimea Heights Primary School 1978-1982. From 1983 to 1986 he attended the Taroon High School where he distinguished himself as captain of the hockey team and swimming but is also involved in equestrian activities. He continues his studies at the 'Hobart Matriculation College and graduated in Law and Commerce at the University of Tasmania in 1994.
After graduation he moved to Melbourne to work first, then to America in 1999 and returned to Australia where she found work as an Account Director in Sydney.
In 2002 he decided to move to Europe. In 2002 he worked briefly in Paris as an English teacher, then moved to Denmark where he finds work at the Microsoft Business Solution.
In September 2000, during the Olympics, Mary met in a pub in Sydney, Crown Prince of Denmark, Frederik.
Frederik and Mary began to keep in touch by phone, e-mails, letters and visits to their countries of origin fueling gossip and filling the pages of the newspapers how they could bond.

last October 8, 2003 is officially announced by the Danish royal family's engagement Frederik, Prince of Denmark by Mary Elizabeth Donaldson.

On May 14, 2004 at the Cathedral of Copenhagen will celebrate the wedding of Mary Donaldson and Prince Frederik.
The couple have four children: Prince Christian Valdemar Henri John was born October 15, 2005, Princess Isabella Henrietta Ingrid Margrethe was born April 21, 2007 and twins, a boy and a girl, born on 8 January 2011, whose names will be revealed during the baptism.
Mary is engaged in a series of sponsorships ranging from fashion and culture, humanitarian assistance to science and research, health in society and sport.
The September 11, 2007 Mary has created "The Mary Foundation, an organization that aims to improve several areas such as environment, health and to prevent isolation or social exclusion.

On 14 May 2004 in Copenhagen Cathedral are celebrated the wedding of Mary Donaldson and Prince Frederik.
