High School Musical is a Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM). This musical for television tells the story of two boys, Troy (Zac Efron ) captain of the school basketball team, and Gabriella (Vanessa Anne Hudgens ), a shy freshman who excels in science and why science is in the league. Together they auditioned for a leading role in some of the musical school, but must fight against the vain Sharpay and her brother Ryan, who always participate in the school musical.
